Hi, my name is Eileen Phelan I currently live in both NYC and Maine.

For most of my professional life I have been committed to the arts. My friends and family are artists, painters, musicians, dancers, and performers. I have worked at theaters, museums, newspapers, and universities.

Originally from California, I lived in London, England and quickly found my way to NYC. I grew to love the explosion of theater that existed in all the nooks and crannies of the city. I embraced its ethos and committed to the transformative power of collaborative work. I worked with the Village Voice for many years as their Marketing Manager and Obie Awards Producer. During this time at The Voice, I also ran a small theater company.

I have always had a knack for producing events, benefits and galas of any size. In addition, I enjoy writing and creating content. I understand how to reach different target audiences, what is needed and how to communicate effectively. I most enjoy engagement events of any kind, where one can meet people in person, and really establish a connection.

As an arts administrator I have held senior management positions in both marketing and development with multiple arts and culture organizations to include: The Vineyard Theatre, Brandeis University, The Tent Theatre Company, Portland Stage, Portland Ovations, The School of Visual Arts, The Village Voice Obie Awards, The Village Halloween Parade, The House of Elder Artists and Children’s Museum of the Arts.

I have an MFA in Theater Direction from Brooklyn College.
